5. How do I check my ADSL usage?
Should you think that you are nearing your capping you are able to get a Check up online? Simply go to http://userstats.adsl.isoftnet.co.za and login with your ADSL username and password.

6. What are my e-mail settings?
Depending on your e-mail address, your mail settings will vary.  Follow the instruction below for your setup. Remember to replace the email addresses with the ones supplied to you by our service desk. If in doubt please phone us on 0214153150.

Whilst in outlook proceed to click the following, TOOL, E-MAIL ACCOUNTS.

Proceed to select the following, VIEW OR CHANGE E-MAIL ACCOUNTS and click NEXT

Once in this window click the CHANGE button on the top left as indicated below

You will now see the setting you need to change - as indicated in red.

Your incoming mail server will now be "mail2.isoftnet.co.za" and your User name will now be your full e-mail address meaning "OLDUSERNAME@isoft.co.za"Once you have made these changes proceed to click NEXT and then FINISH. You have now successfully changed your setting and can continue to enjoy our services.

 

7. What are the correct support numbers and hours?
For anything Internet related such as helpdesk, desktop services and any VPN, E-mail, Remote Access, FTP and ADSL queries you can call 086 147 6382 from 08:30 to 17:00 and from 18:30 to 22:00. Please note, support is offered on weekends as well. Should you need information regarding your account payments or details you can call 021 415 3150 between 08:30 and 16:00 Monday to Friday

8. Should I travel how could I receive my mail?
Yes you are able to access you e-mail anywhere in the world. With our latest technology all you require is an internet connection, be it in a cafe or a hotel. You are able to log on to your Webmail system using your user name and password and send and receive as if you were in the office.

9. What is an ADSL router?
An ADSL Router is a very simple device which will replace you current analogue modem. Instead of connecting on unreliable analogue connection the router will enable you to connect now digitally at speeds up to 16 times faster.

10. How much would ADSL cost me?

Line rental   Telkom R 70-120 per month

Line speed   I-Soft Net   R 133-362 per month

GB package   I-Soft Net    R 99 - The more you buy the less it costs.

If you have no telephone line there will be a once off setup fee for the installation of the landline - the Telkom setup fee is R 437.00  Once installed this line can be activated for ADSL. Should you have a line already I-Soft Net can activate this line for free. In activating your line you need to select a Line speed 3 options are available: 384K for R 133, 512K for R 285 or 1024K for R362 after which the ADSL modem (a once off cost) R1000. Please see FAQ question 11. Once your line has been activated and you have selected a modem I-Soft Net will provide you with a username and password that will allow you access to the internet, the options here start from R99 per month for 1GB or you can go for a prepaid option which is an account that has no time window.
